IFA fair in Berlin presents smart textiles to the public
Approximately ten thousand visitors found their way to the IFA fair in Berlin, Germany, from 31 August to 5 September 2012, to inspect the newest developments in consumer electronics, try them out, and try them on, reports Deutsche Welle. In the technical area a sector still young takes has taken in an important place: smart textiles. Several examples of intelligent fashion, clothing and accessories combined with electronics, were visible during the show. A jacket that lights up in the dark, a t-shirt with a sender that shows your heart rate on your smart phone, and a bag which charges electronics, like your laptop or your smart phone.
