Dr. rer. nat. Beatrix Föllner studied chemistry at Ruhr-Universitaet Bochum (Diploma in 1986, Ph. D. in 1990).
The Ph.D. thesis deals with the investigation of the surface tension in surfactant-water-oil-systems.
From 1990-1991 she worked at the R&D department of the BAYER AG in Leverkusen.
In 1992 she joined the wfk-Cleaning Technology Research Institute in Krefeld as scientific co-worker.
Additional responsibilities were the chemistry and analytics of detergents and the physical chemistry of liquid surfaces. Since July 2002 she is head of the chemistry department at wfk.
